Prague is perhaps best known for the Charles Bridge, named for the Czech King Charles IV who commissioned the bridge's construction in 1357. This stone bridge is Europe's oldest and reaches 516 meters across the Vltava river. It's 9.5 meter width is lined with rows of Baroque statues and large Baroque towers guard either end. The bridge connects Mala Strana with Stare Mesto, Prague's two oldest quarters. Offering a stunning view of the Prague Castle and the baroque buildings on either side of the river, one cannot visit Prague and not cross the Charles Bridge at least once.Amazing and breath-taking view, face to the Charles bridge from every room in the newly renovated baroque house with a litte private garden right at the river. The apartment is comfortable for 6 persons (1 double bed in the living room + 2 single beds + a double bed on the wooden-mezzanet in the bedroom), it is traditionally set up and very enjoyable with TV in the spacious living room. There is a well equipped kitchen, washing-mashine, microwave and electric coffee percolato. 3rd floor, without elevator.
