The City of lights features nothing if they don't feature museums. This is the traveler's destination for museum lovers, and Paris delivers with The Louvre, which houses the Mona Lisa, The Musee d'Orsay which showcases the art from the modernistic era, and a host of museums that feature specific artists. There is also a hands on children's museum if the little ones are beginning to get bored with the constant viewing of paintgs.
Rodin and Picasso have their own museums as does Dali. The Institute of Art covers artists from other corners of the globe; they have all come to rest in the art capital of the world. You would need a month in Paris to visit them all, and some, like the louver, would take weeks alone to tour.
So choose several to taste and set up some guided tours while you are in the city. Calling ahead for reservations for tours guarantees you a space, and you will need to start out early. Plan to take a lunch break at one of the many cafes along the way, or eat in some of the onsite restaurants that some of the museums have to offer.
